Organist

Although piano is the main discipline I teach, my principle instrument is the organ. I've had very patient and generous teachers and this is something I strive to emulate in my own practice.

​

I've been the organist at three churches in Edinburgh: Pilrig St Paul's, with it's beautiful Forster & Andrews organ; Murrayfield Parish Church, where I spent eight happy years working with the choir and developing my accompanying skills; and now at Broughton St Mary's, a jewel of a building with a wonderful acoustic and a vintage Lewis organ of 1882.
